All that sparkles about the city of light…

…during the Belle Époque is captured magnificently in the Modern’s exhibition, “The Paris of Toulouse-Lautrec: Prints and Posters.” Toulouse-Lautrec (1864–1901) captured every day life in the city, both in the streets among everyday people and through high society and the fine arts, with his prints.  This is the first exhibition of its kind in 30 years and it can be said…it’s long overdue.

Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. Queen of Joy (Reine de Joie). 1892
