You can’t have the femme…without the fatale.

Shoes were the focus of numerous episodes of “Sex and the City” and they were the subject of the Brooklyn Museum’s “Killer Heels :  400 Years of Provocative Shoes,” an exhibition which examined the accessories as fashion statements, their place in pop culture, and their effect on the cultural zeitgeist.  Designers ranging from Chanel to Manolo Blahnik to Salvatore Ferragamo, and more, were featured.  And for the skeptics out there, ask yourself this…Is there anything more seductive, with just a hint of danger, than that staple of the femme fatale–the stiletto ?
