Heeding Scotland’s call…

“We look to Scotland for all our ideas of civilisation.” ― Voltaire

We’ve returned from a 10-day adventure in Scotland which included a stopover in Reykjavik; Edinburgh; Glasgow; train travel through the Highlands; and the seaside town of Oban.  In the coming weeks, we will be posting updates to the newly launched Scotland page.  Our enthusiasm cannot be contained so in the interim we’re happy to mention :

― Our lunch at the Angel Share Hotel Edinburgh’s Club Room was one of the most memorable we have had in years…with exemplary service to match.

― The staff at CitizenM Hotel Glasgow is undoubtedly the friendliest we have ever experienced.  They elevate customer service to new levels with affability and professionalism while simultaneously treating guests as family.

― The meal we enjoyed at Glasgow’s Ubiquitous Chip was one of the finest we have experienced…ever.
