The floor is made from the original floor boards; stage lights hang from an industrial ceiling; the guard rail on the second level is made from metal forming dual peace signs; and Robert Doisneau photographs hang on walls of exposed brick. Welcome to Le Chat Noir, located at 39 Notre-Dame St W in Vieux-Montréal. The menu features a variety of well-made omelets, pizzas, sandwiches, soups and specials. I recommend the pizza Siciliana which has the right amount of spicy meats and cheese; the duck burger is also highly recommended. On the weekends, they have an extended brunch menu and the mushroom and asparagus omelette is fantastic.
